Our clients can choose mains dimming, 0-10v, DALI control or Bluetooth technology to achieve perfect dimming control on their project. They can be sure our lighting products will work seamlessly with all major control systems, no matter how swiftly technology advances. To pass our tests our we must achieve a level below 1% of full output without any apparent flicker. These rigorous tests are carried out in partnership with controls manufacturers and their expert integrators and programmers. Colourbox can offer a Dimming Guarantee on an individual project basis. 

Light sources

Colourbox’s Spectrum LED light engines have been developed with world technology leader Bridgelux to deliver light of the highest quality. Surfaces, furnishings and art are illuminated beautifully, their colours and textures perfectly reproduced. Spectrum light engines have a high 1200 lumen output and a wide choice of optics giving designers the perfect toolkit to realise their vision.

Spectrum Pure full spectrum 1200lm light engines have phosphor layers specially tuned to create the closest possible match to natural light. Particular attention is made to balance the blue and green of the visible spectrum. Colour rendering is an excellent 98Ra with an R9 value of 99.

Spectrum Ambient 1200lm dim-to-warm engines gently warm the light, creating an increasingly-comfortable ambience as they’re dimmed. Colour rendering is an excellent 96Ra with an R9 value of 99.

AC7 light engines have a built-in mains dim driver for easy installation. The 750lm LED provides more than enough light for most projects. With a choice of three beam optics and 95Ra CRI (R9:74) AC7 is a formidable design tool for an entry level solution.
